AMA Awards
The AMA periodically presents a number of awards including the AMA Thesis of Distinction Prize and Honourary Life Memberships in the Association for Manitoba Archives.
AMA Thesis of Distinction Prize
The AMA Thesis of Distinction Prize is awarded annually to the student(s) in the Master of Arts (History) - Archival Studies Program at the University of Manitoba, who completes and successfully defends a thesis and receives a “passed with distinction” designation as granted by the examiners in that calendar year. In years in which the award was not given, students failed to receive the "passed with distinction" designation. The prize is a monetary award of $300. Past recipients are as follows:

On occasion, the AMA awards honourary life memberships in recognition of a long-time member's service and leadership in the Association and to the development of Manitoba’s archival community.
