Mitigating Records Risks
Did you know that most organizations do not have a business continuity/disaster recovery plan that includes records protection and most organizations that experience a crisis do not survive unless they have a plan in place to resume business operations quickly.
Join us on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Canada/Manitoba Business Service Centre for a Lunch and Learn Session on Mitigating Records Risks. Presented by Peggy Neal, MLIS, MBA, CRM, Client Services Specialist Librarian, this session will present a way to include records protection in business continuity/disaster recovery plans. You will learn how to assign a value to records based on the business functions they support, prioritize tasks, measure the probability and impact of risks to records, and develop records risk mitigation strategies.
The Canada/Manitoba Business Service Centre is located in the skywalk on the second level of the Cargill building at the corner of Graham Avenue and Garry Street. Parking is available in several surface lots around the area, however, you can also park in the Millennium Library parkade and take the skywalk to the C/MBSC.
