The Board of Directors is the legal authority for the Association for Manitoba Archives. As a member of the Board, a Director acts in a position of trust for the community and is responsible for the effective governance of the organization. The Board of Directors must approve the membership of committees. Policies recommended by committees must receive Board approval before coming into effect. The Board must approve all major commitments of time and financial resources required by the committees. The Board will ensure that committees have sufficient resources to carry out their mandates.
